BIO

Charlie Hart, also known as ‘Ausome Charlie’ (she/they) is a professional speaker, an experienced CIPD-qualified HR Analyst, and a popular and influential neurodiversity advocate. Charlie is neurodivergent (Autistic, ADHD, Complex PTSD), bisexual/pansexual and gender non-conforming.

Charlie’s talks centre her own lived experience and insights, underpinned with expertise in employment legislation and inclusion theory, and delivered with authentically neurodivergent quirkiness and self-deprecating humour.

Unafraid to tackle emotive topics other speakers avoid, Charlie is not another happy-flappy neurodiversity advocate; she speaks of dark clouds and silver linings, of adversity and resilience, and will leave you inspired and hopeful.

Charlie Hart Assoc.CIPD MPSA is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and is now accredited as a Professional Member of the Professional Speaking Association. She offers keynote speeches, webinars, interviews, panel events and workshops.

‘I’ve worked professionally in suicide prevention for more than 10 years, but every day’s a school day. We all need to keep listening to and learning from diverse lived and living experiences. And when I first met Charlie Hart, my education began again. Not only did I hear one of the most tragic experiences of suicide loss – so much we can all learn from Charlie’s experience in losing Iggy and how it was (mis)handled by the authorities, but I found the entire conversation an insightful and inspiring ‘learning and development programme’ on neurodiversity. Charlie talks with a unique mix of personal and professional knowledge, along with the directness of someone who is autistic and has a channelled passion for educating others for mutual benefit.’
Chief Facilitator, Zero Suicide Society
