  • Change your story, change your world

  • Diversity – “Be yourself, everyone else is taken”

Bio

Preethi left her job as a management consultant to set up her own publishing and "international" PR company after her manuscript, Gypsy Masala, was rejected by most publishers. She established multinationals in her bedroom and appointed feisty director, Pru Menon (an alter ego) to energetically hype her work. Nobody else knew of her plan. Working as several different people and with a frenetic double life, Preethi at times felt she had truly lost the plot. After two years, her perseverance in the face of consistent rejection were rewarded; she signed a three-book deal with HarperCollins. Currently, she has written, acted and produced her first one-woman sell out show at the Tristan Bates Theatre, London and is writing a series for the BBC. Preethi is MD of Kiss the Frog, a company that takes storytelling to organisations and teaches storytelling and personal leadership at Cranfield University and the FT/IE Corporate Learning Alliance.

Most recently, Preethi wrote, acted and produced her first West End stage play “Sari: The Whole Five Yards.”

Preethi has spoken at many business conferences but most notably; she delivered the keynote to the Women in Wall Street Conference to 3,000 women on "Overcoming Obstacles.". She has also shared a platform with Sir Bob Geldof on “Talking Less and Doing More”.

"The storyteller who makes up the skills gap"

Head of Customer Excellence, What If! – The Innovation Company

“When Preethi is hired to share her unique insight into story creation she does so by opening a window into her own amazing life. Within an event that boasted other speakers such as Bob Geldof, she was the one most were impressed by and wanted to follow up with. If your brand or business has a story that customers should value go talk to her"
